Board-certified in Gastroenterology since 2007, Dr. Katopes’s extensive experience and thorough approach to medicine combined with his pleasant personality are vitally important to the health and well being of each of the patients that come to him for care. Growing up on Long Island, New York, Dr. Katopes earned his BA from Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York. He earned his MD degree from SUNY – Downstate Medical Center in New York and completed his residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His clinical interests are Liver/Hepatitis, IBD, IBS and Biliary/Pancreatic Diseases.
